OPEN DAY at Peace Park
EUROGROUP always at the forefront of the territory!
For us it is important to be protagonists in improving life and our wonderful territory.
The initiative, organized on the occasion of the ecological day dedicated to the theme "The parks and the city" which will offer many events and the usual closure, to circulation in the central area of Vicenza, was presented today by the mayor Francesco Rucco, by the deputy mayor and councilor to mobility Matteo Celebron, by the councilor for the environment Simona Siotto, by the councilor for civil protection Mattia Ierardi and by the municipal councilor and president of the Pro Loco Postumia Roberto Cattaneo.
All those who collaborate for the success of the event were also present.
"The day is dedicated to all citizens who want to see the Peace Park for the first time - explained by the municipal councilor and president of the Pro Loco Postumia Roberto Cattaneo -. There will be activities suitable for families and people of all ages. The children will be able to plant some trees that will grow in the park and which will bear their name ".
Throughout the day it will be possible to see from the outside the new headquarters of the civil protection of the Municipality of Vicenza and the pertinent spaces, as well as an exhibition of airplanes by the Vicenza aviation associations and an exhibition of vintage cars set up by 'Historic club of Schio.
The open day is organized by Euroambiente, the parent company of the ati (temporary association of companies) which is taking care of the redevelopment of the large park, with the Municipality of Vicenza and Pro Loco Postumia and is possible thanks to the sponsors Aim Ambiente, Amcps, Ana section of Vicenza, Cisom Vicenza Group, Eurogroup, The open, MA installations, Svt, Civil protection, Sartorello, Unpli Veneto, Viacqua, WSS.
The activities (for which pre-registration will be required as per the anti Covid legislation) will begin at 10 with the guided tour of the park, limited to the accessible areas, on board a train.
From 10 to 16 you can get on the hot air balloon that will rise up to 40 meters from the ground to be able to admire the park area from above.
From 12 to 13 will be available between 100 and 200 plants that can be placed directly by citizens in a dedicated area of the park. One plant per household will be delivered which will be classified with the name of who planted it.
The program of initiatives will continue at 2.30 pm with the intervention of the mayor Francesco Rucco. A cabaret show with Gianni Bedin will then follow.
